Elder Walbom arrived safely in Orlando.)

First email from Elder Ethan Walbom:

It's been a crazy week, I've already had 2 companions [since arriving in Orlando] and seen a missionary have to go home [because he severely hurt his back]. Orlando has either been really hot or rainy but I don’t mind. I'm in a Spanish ward and was able to get up in front of them and introduce myself and bear my testimony in Spanish, which was a really good experience. My current companion’s name is Elder Marshall who has been on his mission for 19 months in Orlando.

I've taught nonmembers every single day and that has been great. We also have 3 people set for baptism on next Sunday so hopefully that goes through. Additionally, a lady we taught had a super strong change of opinion about the word of wisdom and even though she likes wine she knows she needs to give it up.

I would just like to give a shout out to Elder Poulson, my very first companion in the mission, for being such a great comp for the six weeks of the MTC. I hope my Spanish gets better in Orlando and I hope that I can continue to teach people and reach out to them with the gospel. Tune in next week for more information.

Adios
